Debit Card Annual Charge Emailer

Hey FriMian,

We wanted to give you a heads-up about some updates coming your way regarding adjustments to our debit card fees, effective May 1st, 2024.

Here’s the reason why:

**Physical debit card:**

We've run through our previous card stocks and are now rolling out new cards at updated exchange rates, which has led to a cost increase reflecting the incremental expenses involved in delivering these cards to you.

**Virtual debit card:**

With virtual cards, there's no physical component. The fee adjustment covers the cost incurred in enabling enhanced security measures, allocation of card slots and licensing fees for you to have a safe and secured transactions via your virtual Mastercard debit card (This can also be used to tap and pay with your phone in the future).

If you prefer both options, you will only get charged the physical debit card fee and we will give you the same card virtually. As always, we aim to provide more value than what you spend annually on your chosen Mastercard debit card.

Fee revisions are as follows:

• Physical Debit Cards: The annual fee will be LKR 1,000 (currently LKR 600)

• New Virtual Debit Cards: An annual fee of LKR 400 will be introduced

Existing Virtual Debit Cards: An annual fee of LKR 400 will apply only from the next renewal date (The expiry date can be viewed in the card management section in-app)

We understand that changes like these may prompt some curiosity. Rest assured, we're committed to providing you with the best banking experience possible with transparent communication. If you have any concerns or need clarification, our customer support team is ready to assist you at 0114 374 374. Your effortless experience is our priority!

Thank you,
